Activities in Brisbane Hinterlands
The coolest winter festival is coming to Brisbane Hinterlands this year.
Hosting the Australian Winter Festival for the 1st time and committed in
making it the best so far. It will be showcasing a whole week of
delectable activities from June 9 until June 26, 2011.
Events will occur at King George Square where you can find the largest
skating rink measuring over 900m². Start skating and get the chance to
join their events in their enormous skating rink.
Provided below are the schedule of the events:
Ice Skating Australia Amateur Shows will happen daily that will begin at
12:00 pm. From then on, 10 minutes before every hour you will witness
spectacular talents in the show. In addition, there will also be ice
skating lessons available during that time.
- Every Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays the Eighties Ice Disco
will take place.
- Monday to Friday at 1 pm the thrilling Ice Blitz Championships
QLD is expected to rule the show.
- On June 24th the game will begin at 4 pm and soon a champion
will rise on the competition.
Also, don’t miss the World’s Longest Apple Strudel on June 17th. Back up
with superb delicacies from famous restaurants in the area this is a
sure success that you want to be a part of.
